EMPLOYEES
Larry here, I am honored that Mr. Bossman has entrusted me with managing the employee directory. Join me as I introduce the staff of the toughest tough guy talent agency in the world!
Compared to other people I've worked with, Mr. Joey is pretty unorthodox. For one, HBD not having any formal hierarchy was his idea. (Despite knowing this, I sometimes I call him Mr. Bossman out of habit.) He actually remembers my name, which I find refreshing after years of my boss calling me "Lenny" or "Limmy" or in some cases "Lonald". Strangely, he greets me with a sharp toothed smile every morning and he invites me to hang out together after work. Even stranger, he doesn't make up arbitrary tasks for me to do when he sees I've finished all my assigned tasks early. Eccentricities aside, he's a hard worker when he wants to be. If I had to sum him up in a few words, he's hot-headed, earnest overly earnest, and a little stubborn. If I had to sum him up in just one word, well, I think he's pretty cool! If an evildoer starts a fight, you can be sure Joey will end it if he's around. He puts himself in mortal peril almost constantly, sometimes for seemingly no reason. I can't quite tell if his behavior is the result of an incredibly reckless sense of justice, or a thrill-seeking daredevil attitude. It's probably both! According to Rosy, he has a violent younger brother who has been living alone on Low Moon ever since an unfortunate accident. Part of why HBD was created was so Joey could give other people a way to sharpen their skills and find community and meaning in their work so that they wouldn't end up like his brother did.
